Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone! We are almost there, it’s blogmas day 23, I almost made it. Today, as a sort of final post to sum up the year wrap-ups I have been doing (don’t worry there will be a full comprehensive year wrap-up coming for new years), I will be unveiling my favourite book of the year. There were so many great books this year that it wasn’t easy picking my favourite! Some runner-ups include Deathcaster by Cinda Williams China (an amazing finale to the Shattered Realms series), Supernova by Marissa Meyer (another fantastic final book in the Renegades series), and Serpent & Dove, a new release that really surprised me this year. The book that really stood out to me was a lush high fantasy story, a new addition to an established book universe, and a book with an ending that was truly shocking……………. *drum roll please*………………….

This book was another wonderful addition to the Grishaverse, and it had an ending that left me reeling for days! I can’t wait to see what Leigh Bardugo writes next, and I am beyond excited for the Shadow and Bone Netflix series that is supposed to air sometime next year, let’s hope they do this wonderful series justice.
