Favourite Holiday Classics

Happy blogmas day 7! I know my post is a little late today, but in my defence I was busy baking Christmas cookies all day! So a couple days ago I did a post about my top 5 trashy Christmas movies, so today I thought I would go the other way, and share my top 5 Christmas classics. These are long established Christmas movies that are in my opinion, a staple of every holiday season. I could have probably gone on and on about these movies so to make sure i didn’t start to bore all of you I decided to limi tit to my top 5. As always I want to hear from all of you in the comments! Are you doing blooms this year? what are your must-watch holiday classics?

1. National Lampoons: Christmas Vacation

I adore this movie, it makes me laugh every single time. My parents and I watch this movie every year on Christmas day and it just wouldn’t be Christmas without it! I would go as far as to say it is my all time favourite.

2. Home Alone

This is another classic, must watch Christmas movie! It is such a fun movie for the whole family, and it is a staple in my house! Though I will say I am always shocked to see how violent this so called family film is lol.

3. Arthur Christmas

I discovered this movie only a few years ago and I love it! It is my family’s regular Christmas Eve movie and it is always so heartwarming. Arthur is such an endearing character, and the plot is actually really funny and engaging!

4. The Holiday

Young. Jude. Law. Need I say more? This movie is amazing, from its star studded cast, to the adorable stories of love and friendship. Honestly, Love Actually gets all the Holiday romcom acclaim, but I would actually argue that this movie is better!

5. Miracle on 34th Street (1994)

This is such a heartwarming movie. I prefer the “newer” version to the original black and white one, but honestly both are a great time.
