Happy pre-halloween season (is that a thing?) I love this time of year when the days get shorter and sweater season starts. I was feeling in the mood for another tag and when I stumbled upon this one I knew I had to do it! I saw this over on The Orang-utan Librarian and since it is the spooky season I thought it was the perfect time to give this a go! I love these kinds of tags so I hope you guys give it a go as well. I’m not going to tag anyone in this one, so if you like it consider yourself tagged.

Witch: A magical character or book
How can I not say Harry Potter for this?! Is there a more magical book out there, I defy anyone to find one. As for a magical character, seriously pick any Harry Potter character, my favourite would be Luna, so I’ll say her.
Werewolf: The perfect book to read at night
This is hard, I have so many books that I read at night! I like light hearted books before I go to bed, mostly because I am usually really tired so that’s all my brain can compute. I’ll say The Selection since it is the book I was reading before bed most recently.
Frankenstein: A book that truly shocked you
Oh this is a good one, I have used The Loneliest Girl in the Universe way too often for these kinds of questions. I think instead I’ll say House of Hades by Rick Riordan. The ending was the biggest cliffhanger I had ever read at the time and I remember being so shocked when I read it.
The Devil: A dark or evil character
I’m going to say the darkling from Shadow and Bone. He was such an amazing villain that I almost don’t want to call him evil. I have nether read a more well rounded villain before and I am so excited to see him brought to life int he Netflix show.
Grim Reaper: A character that never should have died
Sirius Black, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Dobby…. The list goes on and on honestly just save them all please.
Zombie: A book that made you hungry for more
UGH SO MANY. I hate starting a really amazing new series and then realizing there is a whole year between you and the next book. I will have to say The Black Witch by Laurie Forest. I fell in love with that book and I am so excited for book 3 next May!
Gargoyle: A character that you would protect at all cost
Um see the Grim Reaper one above??? Lol no I will actually go to a TV show for this answer and say Dean Winchester from Supernatural. The show is ending soon and honestly we need to protect him at all costs.
Vampire: A book that sucked the life out of you
Wuthering Heights almost killed me. Sorry to anyone who likes that book, but I had to read it for school and it was the single worst book I have ever read. I hated all the characters, to the point where I wasn’t rooting for any of them to have a happy ending.
Ghost: A book that still haunts you
The Book Thief- in a good way. I adored that book and I have yet to find another book that hit me as hard as that one did. It was a very special story and it paints tragedy in a really unique and interesting way.
Demon: A book that really scared you
Under the Dome by Stephen King scared me way more than I care to admit. I also read this when I was 12, which was waaaaay too young for the messed up shit that’s in this book. I would actually say I was more disturbed by it than scared.
Mummy: A book you would preserve throughout time
OMG this is hard! I want to say Harry Potter again but I already used it. I’m going to say Jurassic Park because it is probably my second favourite book. I recommend everyone read the book, the movie doesn’t do it justice.
Creepy Doll: A cover too scary to look at
This needs no explanation, it’s just freakin creepy
