Well, now that it is almost August I think it is safe for me to do this tag! I saw this one over on Kristin Kraves Books so please go check out her post as well. I am really excited about this post, I love summer and bucket lists so this is right up my alley way. The weather here is slowly starting to actually feel like summer as well so the timing is perfect.

I am going with Life of Pi by Yann Martel for this one. The whole book is basically set in the middle of the ocean! I love this book and I think even though it can feel a bit heavy with all of it’s more spiritual and philosophical elements, it can still be a really engaging read.
Ok this is a tough one because if you know YA, you know there are too many books to choose from! I think I will have to say Furyborn by Claire Legrand. The romance between Rielle and Audric was very steamy and intense, especially given that the book started with a glimpse of their tragic future.
AH again there are so many to choose from! I honestly love epic hero journey books so this is my kind of question. I will have to say A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee. Following Percy and Monty’s wild adventure across Europe was an amazing ride! This is definitely one of the best books I have read in the last couple years.
I honestly don’t have an answer for this one, but I would love to hear from you guys! what are some books that left all of you starstruck?
For this one I have to say The Black Witch by Laurie Forest. This new epic high fantasy is one of the best I have read! I love the whole magic school trope (enter my obsession with Harry Potter). This books and it’s sequel were impossible to put down and I can’t wait for the next book!
I have to pick Gifford and Jane from My Lady Jane. They were just adorable together, Jane with her books and Gifford with his horse problem, it was perfect.
Ok so this may sound like a very weird answer but I am going with The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James. The book itself is a dark thriller but it was so unique and really a fresh take on the genre.
How much time do I have? this is another question with a million possible answers. I think I will have to go with Nova from Renegades by Marissa Meyer. I will admit she hasn’t overcome her obstacle yet (namely her double life as both a super villain and a superhero), but I hope she does in book 3!
I have to say Harry Potter again, whenever it comes to food it is really the only answer. I would kill to be at one of those amazing Harry Potter feasts just once!
