The Marvel Avengers Book Tag

Hey book lovers, I find myself again having to explain why I missed my usual posting time this Sunday. These last few weeks have been very stressful and busy for me s I am nearing the end of my undergraduate degree. Unfortunately I just couldn’t find the time to read last week, but I promise to have my review of Damsel up by this Sunday. I am extremely excited for Avengers: Endgame to come out (we are in the final few weeks of waiting and the suspense is killing me). So in the spirit of Marvel, I thought I would do a book tag because it has been so long since I tackled one! I saw this perfect one over at The Orang-utan Librarian so please go check out that awesome post as well. And, without further ado let’s get started…

Iron Man – a book that made you laugh out loud:

My Lady Jane makes me laugh every time I read it.

Captain America – a book that sends a positive message:

I mean there is no end to the positive messages in the entire Harry Potter series, but for now I just put the first book.

Thor – a book with a character’s strength you admire:

Kaz Brekker for sure! He is such a wonderfully written and developed character.

Black Widow – a book with a kick-ass female protagonist:

Lada is a force to be reckoned with and I would not bet against her.

Hulk – a book that made you incredibly angry:

I made it about 4 chapters in to this book, the girl character was so whiny and annoying I couldn’t stand it.

Hawkeye – an underrated book you think more people should pay attention to:

I just finished this book recently and it was so unique and interesting, everyone should definitely pick it up!

Black Panther- A book that showcases another culture:

I really loved the look this book provided into Japanese mythology and history, it was a very compelling read. Also I added this category to the tag because I thought Black Panther needed a spot on this list.

Spiderman- Favourite new book of the year:

Ok so I snuck in a category of my own to honour one of my favourite avengers (and the newest one). Also Wicked King was an awesome sequel!

*BONUS* Loki – a book with a twist or surprise that tricked you:

I have said this again and again, but The Loneliest Girl in the Universe has a twist ending you will never see coming.

  1. I love Kaz Brekker! He’s a genius with a hint of badass and honestly you can’t help but want to scoop him up and give him a hug while also being very aware of the things he’s capable of. Thanks for the tag! ❤
