Merry Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays bookworms, I hope you are all having a wonderful festive season, and are enjoying some down time with your friends and family. It’s day 3 of my Christmas count down so time for another tag! I saw this tag over on Jenn’s blog at Jenniely and I knew I would have to do it for my Christmas count down week!

Rules

  • Tag & link the person who tagged you
  • Tag and link me/this post (if you would be so kind, I love reading your answers!)
  • Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done
  • Tag another 10 people!

Received an ARC and not reviewed it

I only recently started receiving ARCs so I haven’t actually had the chance to do this!

Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley

I actually don’t use Netgalley because I am really not an ebook kind of person so this one doesn’t apply to me.

Rated a book on goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)

I have definitely done this, honestly I think it was probably because I just forgot and then moved on… I should really look at my goodreads ratings and see which ones I have forgotten to post.

Folded down the page of a book

UGH I know I’m sorry, I have done this before. Sometimes I don’t have a bookmark with me for whatever reason and I have to bite the bullet and fold that page down. i really do try to avoid it though.

Accidentially spilled on a book

Ahhh Yes I have done that as well, it was an honest mistake, though now my book has tea stains on it.

DNF a book this year

I think so…. I may have started a book and then had to leave it behind when I went back to university (luggage weight restriction are a real bitch).

Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

I can honestly say I have never done that.

Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)

LOL all the time, I am usually never doing homework when I am supposed to. I would b

Skim read a book

does a book for school count? because I have most definitely done that.

Completely missed your Goodreads goal

yes…. This is the first year I have set one and it is not looking like I will make it. I greatly underestimated how busy I would be at school this semester.

Borrowed a book and not returned it

Nope, bu that is a big pet peeve of mine.

Broke a book buying ban

I have never set a ban for myself lol

Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about

Happily this has not yet happened to me.

Wrote in a book you were reading

Again, for school I have because I take notes while reading, but never in any of my personal books.

Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads

Oh 100%, mostly because I often forget.

  1. When I was a student, I skim read pretty much all of my school books, especially as an undergrad. We had way too much reading! There was no way I could get it done on time. Also, it was boring. My reading list in graduate school was more tolerable because I got to choose the books myself.
