Happy spring everyone! Though honestly the way the weather is going here in Scotland it could be winter… I choose to be optimistic and believe that the sun will indeed come out again soon, and this spring tag is perfect for keeping my spirits up. This was originally created by Helene Jeppesen and Amanda Elise Carina and I was tagged by the lovely Abigail at What Makes a Good Book so please go check out her post as well, her answers were awesome!
Here’s a quick corgi spring GIF before I start because I think we all need it:

1. How is spring where you live?
I live in a few different places so spring is all over the place. I go to school in Kingston, Ontario in Canada (except for this semester where I am in Scotland). In Kingston it gets pretty cold in the winter so spring still gets snow and cold spells, but there can be some sunny days as well. My hometown in in British Columbia, Canada (on the West Coast) and it is way warmer there so spring is usually mild and rainy.
2. Most anticipated book this spring?
Oh this is a good one. There are so many it is hard to pick just one, but I will have to go with A Reaper at the Gates (An Ember in the Ashes #3) by Sabaa Tahir which is due to come out April 24th. i am so excited because I love this series and I didn’t know there was going to be a third book.
3. What book cover makes you think of spring?
This was the first book that popped into my head. I love the Raven cycle series, and all the covers are gorgeous. This cover with its blues, greens and purples is just so springy, especially with the flowers.
4. Where are you going to read this spring?
Hopefully lots of things! Right now I have To Kill a Kingdom, The State of Sorrow and The Last Black Unicorn on my TBR so fingers crossed I get to those, and also am able to cross some others off my very very long list.
5. Find a cover with the sun on it!
I haven’t actually read this book but i have been hearing some really great things about it, and that is one of the happiest covers I have ever seen.
6. What are your favourite spring reads?
I don’t really have any. I just go with whatever is next on my TBR. I guess I will say Harry Potter because let’s be honest that series is good for all occasions.
7. Find a book with a ton of different colours on it.
Braking the rules on this one! I couldn’t pick just one from this series because all of these covers are amazing and beautiful. It is also a really good series (highly recommend).

Great tag. I live in the UK so Spring can be hot and sunny or cold and rainy. We had snow last month and now it’s a beautiful sunny day. I agree about Harry Potter being a series for all seasons.

Oh ma gad, I am irrevocably in love with the covers of the Firebird series!!! I read A Thousand Pieces of You and it was brilliant! Everything that I love and look for in a book, it’s there.
I remember Stiefvater, what a lovely title and cover.
Spring over where I am is rainy and thunderous. Lots of crackling lightning which I’m mesmerized with😍
