This is a meme hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words where anyone who wants to participate answers three questions. I am sure many of you know this meme well, and I thought it would be something fun to add to my blog! As always please feel free to tell me your answers in the comments, I love to hear your thoughts!
What are you currently reading?
It is hard to pick just one book of this, since I am perpetually reading at least three books, and that’s if you don’t count all the scholarly books I have to read for University! But my main one at the moment is Crystal Storm (Falling Kingdoms #5) by Morgan Rhodes. I think it has become pretty apparent by now how much I love this series (see my review of Falling Kingdoms), and I love re-reading it before a new one comes out!
What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. I can’t believe I had never read it before it was quite the emotional rollercoaster! I loved this book and will definitely be picking up the sequel soon. I am also super excited that it is going to be a movie, hopefully the adaption will be good.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Next up for me will be A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir. I recently re-read the first book (An Ember in the Ashes) and I am excited to start the second book once more. It is a great book and a wonderful addition to the series.
What about you guys? what book is next in your TBR pile?
I have yet to read Morgan Rhodes or Sabaa Tahir but I really want to! Just haven’t found the time. Great post!!!

I’ve only read one Patrick Ness novel, A Monster Calls, and loved that one as well. So much so in fact that it will have a life-long effect on me.. just one of those exceptional books that you’ll remember forever.. I’m happy you discovered him as well. I haven’t read this one yet but I like the sound of another emotional rollercoaster :-). Happy reading! Oh and love that mug!!

Wow, you seem to enjoy re-reading books quite a lot! I wish I had that drive because I often forget what the previous books in a series were about whenever a new ones comes out I’m just too lazy to go back to them…
I’m glad you’re enjoying the Falling Kingdoms series 🙂 It’s one of my faves as well, even though Crystal Storm was a bit disappointing. I’m hoping the next one will stir things up for me a little bit. It’s almost here! Can’t wait ❤
I also need to read A Torch Against the Night… Super excited to be revisiting Elias and the gang and find out what happens to them. (Excited AND fearful, too, because Tahir is just … UGH such a great writer)
I'm currently reading Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor and loving it so far 🙂 I hope you love Crystal Storm as much as the previous books! ❤

I’m so glad you liked Ness’s book. I’ve heard nothing but great things. I didn’t know it was going to be a movie, that’s great! I hope they do it well. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

I have the same problem as you, always reading multiple books at the same time.
Current read : The Killing Moon by N.K. Jemisin
Just finished reading: Mr. Churchill’s Secretary
Next read: No idea. There is such a big TBR pile, I am not sure what to pick up next.

I haven’t read either of those, are you enjoying them?

Mr. Churchill’s secretary is a breezy fun read. Not too much thrilling plot, just an escapist entertaining read.
The Killing Moon is quite a different Fantasy, I haven’t really read anything with such a theme before, so it’s quite fascinating. I am still in the middle of it, but I have a feeling it’s going to be good.

You should definitely check out Jemisin’s other series, Broken Earth trilogy if you haven’t yet. It’s a great fantasy series.

My TBR is so huge! The rest of the series of unfortunate events, the rest of the “Girl who circumnavigated fairyland in a ship of her own making” series, goth girl series by Chris Riddell – not to mention all of Kit Pearsons works! I wish you luck in your reading!
